We began our journey when we realized, Mr & Mrs Louw, founding Pastors of our church, were no longer able to continue their vision as a result of ill health, myself (Alida Louw - Founder) & my husband (Vernon Louw - Co-founder) made a joint decision to continue and build upon their vision.

We began our outreach work in West-lake & Constantia, among the underprivileged farm workers, we were faced with a number of challengers; Petrol, volunteers and donations, among others but continued to provide s daily meal.

Back then we were not as established as we are today, even though our donations became less, we did not give up! We decided to move closer to home and we set up in Delft. We were presented with a few additional challenges such as; Transportation, Guidance and space, where we could comfortably work and distribute the meals and clothing parcels.  We would, at times, use what ever money we had to fund our cause to make sure the people we served were fed. 

 

Today we look back and we're great full for being able to have provided 120 - 150 individuals, daily for 23 years.

 

Our wish is to see that the individuals we're providing quint essentials to, are fed and clothed, we would also like to spread awareness and encourage other's to assist and invest in the growth of the underprivileged.

We would like to bring an end to worry and concerns about not having a daily meal or sufficient clothing.

 

We wish that our efforts encourage and inspire those who are able to give, to step forward and help make a difference. We hope that actions inspire those in need to have faith that change and better circumstances are possible through the power and guidance of our almighty creator.
